On my out of state trips, I enjoy hand-mining specimens that can be found at road cuts, for example. The base of this gem tree is quartz with chlorite inclusions. The specimen was collected in Arkansas a year ago. Each freshwater pearl is real and the branches of the tree are hand-twisted pieces of copper we collected. It stands less than a foot tall, comes with its own box and an information card.
