This acrylic painting depicts a single, lonely white rose surrounded by a bold, gold background. Many different things depict love, and beauty can be found in everything. I took the reference photo for this piece and wanted the flower to pop out into the foreground from the boldness in color choice of the background. The delicate, white rose is painted on a 12 inch by 12 inch stretched canvas.
